Weddings...

Well the first of my nephews is getting married in March. John Dennis Sutphin is marrying Samantha Elizabeth Hodges. And what a wedding it is going to be. It's happening at the Jefferson Center in downtown Roanoke. The reception dinner is going to be there too...then they are going to the Hotel Roanoke before leaving for a Carribean honeymoon. I'm watching Ace of Cakes right now which is making me think of this. I love Ace of Cakes.

So I'm directing the wedding which I'm a bit nervous about because I've never done that before, however I've already had 2 weddings of my own so I figure it can't be that hard. Basically just tell everyone where they stand etc...

Moving on..

Sarah my baby just came in here and told me her throat is hurting...not my baby...I don't want her to get this..even though the doc said this virus is pretty contagious...greeeeeeaaaaaaaat...

Finding old classmates on Facebook has been exceptionally fun. People that I've always wondered about all these years but never knew how to find them or get in touch with them and now they are ..at my fingertips as I type in their name in a search engine or see them on someone elses friend's list. Amazing really. And when I was working at Holdren's in the early 90's I thought all the salesman there were stupid for thinking the internet was such a cool place...what was so great about it I wondered? I mean, I didn't even know what a personal computer was then! Not really anyway...it was nothing I could afford I knew that.

And now, here I am...a net addict...take my tv...take my radio...my cds...who needs them? I can google all my fav tunes and download them to be mine on a burned cd.

It's official...sore throats and general crapiness makes my posts ultra boring.
